Japan FAQ

  1. When is the best time to visit Japan?

Japan is a year-round destination. Most consider the best time to visit to be March-May and October-November in order to avoid the summer heat and winter cold, however, you will find those times of year to be more crowded.

  2. When is cherry blossom season?

Cherry blossoms will start to bloom from the end of March until the beginning of April. The exact timing depends on the region.

  3. How long should I spend in Japan?

We recommend at least a week. Our most popular tours are our 7 and 10-day tours.

  4. What food should I try in Japan?

The best-known dishes include sushi, ramen and tempura. We also recommend travelers try Yakitori (savory chicken skewers), Japanese Curry (which is not spicy like most curries), Gyoza (handmade dumplings) and Japan’s various exotic fruits.
